    Accessibility Statement

This is an accessibility statement from Memories Made in Motion (Pty) Ltd. Revised .

    Measures to support accessibility

We want this website to be usable by everyone, and we would rather describe what we actually do than claim a programme we do not run.

We test with automated accessibility scans and manual keyboard and screen-reader checks during development, and we fix issues as we find them.

    Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. They define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA and Level AAA.

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the standard. The known exceptions are:

    • Captions (WCAG 1.2.2, Level A): some legacy video portfolios and historical media archives published before our current standards lack synchronised captions. All new video published since 2025 is captioned.
    • Audio description (WCAG 1.2.5, Level AA): those same legacy videos do not carry audio description.

If you need an accessible alternative for any of that content, contact us using the details below and we will provide one.

    Additional accessibility considerations

    • Vestibular & Motion Sensitivity: We respect the prefers-reduced-motion media query. Non-essential animations and decorative transitions automatically pause or turn off when reduced motion is enabled.
    • Avoidance of Images of Text: Informational text is rendered as actual, selectable text — never embedded inside decorative graphics.
    • Plain Language & Clear Context: Navigation labels, forms and instructions are written in plain, clear language with context-sensitive hints where useful.

    Feedback

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the MMIM website. Please let us know if you encounter accessibility barriers:

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 2 business days. This is the only response commitment we publish for accessibility matters.

Compatibility with browsers and assistive technology

Our website is designed to work optimally with the following combinations:

    • Windows: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge with NVDA or JAWS screen readers.
    • macOS: Apple Safari or Google Chrome with VoiceOver.
    • iOS / iPadOS: Apple Safari with VoiceOver.
    • Android: Google Chrome with TalkBack.

    Technical specifications

Accessibility relies on the following technologies working with your browser and any assistive technologies:

    • HTML
    • WAI-ARIA
    • CSS
    • JavaScript

These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.

    Limitations and alternatives

The exceptions listed under Conformance status above are the limitations we are currently aware of. If you require a transcript, captions or another alternative for any video or media on this site, email admin@memoriesmotion.com and we will respond within 2 business days.

    Assessment approach

Self-evaluation. We run automated accessibility scans and manual keyboard and screen-reader checks during development, and review colour contrast and navigation patterns before publishing changes. We have not commissioned a third-party accessibility audit.

    Formal complaints

If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may escalate to admin@memoriesmotion.com or +27 61 518 1374.
